Examples of Chase Hardship Letters
Since Chase Bank is one of the larger lenders, I have written many hardship letters to them on behalf of homeowners.
In this collection of letters, I have chosen to include 5 hardship letters that have been approved by Chase.
These letters are described here:
- Hardship letter for loan modification – primary residence, 1st mortgage – hardship is due to reduced income and excessive medical expenses.
- Hardship letter for loan modification – primary residence, 1st mortgage – hardship is due to reduced income and expenses incurred in needing to care for an elderly, ill relative.
- Hardship letter for loan modification – investment property, 1st mortgage – hardship is due to reduced income, losing health insurance, and becoming ill.
- Hardship letter for loan modification – primary residence, 1st mortgage – hardship is due to reduced income due to loss of overtime hours, caring for a family member, increased and unexpected expenses and excessive credit card debt.
- Hardship letter for loan modification and forbearance plan reduction – primary residence, 1st mortgage – hardship due to lost income because of elimination of overtime hours, then a lay off, and high credit card debt.
If you need a hardship letter for Chase, these letters should give you a great start at wording your letter correctly. If your specific situation is not described in these letters, it is most likely described fairly well in one of the other 27 letters in this collection.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Best of luck,
Becky
